Peerut Chienwichai
Dr. Peerut Chienwichai is an Associate Professor at the Princess Srisavangavadhana Faculty of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kasetsart University and his Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University, Thailand.
Dr. Chienwichai leads a research project focused on the multi-omics study of rabies virus-infected models, aiming to discover viral biomarkers and explore alternative treatment strategies. He has published 14 papers in various peer-reviewed journals and serves as a member of the Bioinformatics Academic Association of Thailand.
His teaching expertise spans molecular biology, bioinformatics, omics data analysis, and computational biology. His research interests center on infectious disease omics, particularly for understanding disease pathogenesis, identifying biomarkers, and discovering novel therapeutic options.
